Svarog was considered as the creator and master of all other gods, even though he was never strong and powerful as Perun. He was also the lord of Svarge (word Svarga in Sanskrit means heaven). To Slavic people, Svarga meant something like the world of gods and dead. According to some historians, he has two sons, Daždbog or Dabog sun god, and Svarožić.
