When I saw this piece I knew I had to order it in an ebony stain. The black of the wood burned design on the black of the stain looks absolutely fantastic. The wood, the trees, and the text together all lend itself to a kind of dark folk/black metal aesthetic, if you're one who likes to play music while engaging in one's practices -- spiritual, creative, or otherwise. "Return to the woods" also serves as a point of meditative focus to turn one's mind away from hectic soul-stifling modernity (if one can't, for whatever reason, simply wander into an actual woodland). I look forward to making use of such a piece, time and again. As always, I will forever recommend this shop to all who appreciate such things.
