The wood is hand distressed Poplar, with detailed wood burning and given a danish oil or wood stain treatment for a beautiful protective and preserving finish. Mounting hooks will be attached to back of wood base so it is ready to hang.

The ghostwood stain of this mirrored shelf is so gorgeous. It's not totally visible in my photo, but the mirror piece is quite thick and high quality, and it has a lovely bit of antiquing. Justin was good to contact me regarding some small dings on the mirror and he had the idea to add a small trim around the base of the mirror to cover them -- the end result of which looks completely natural to the overall design. It was simple enough to wall-mount, and I have placed an incense holder (also from this shop) on the shelf for now. I am quite happy with my purchase, and I think it is a wonderful addition to my space. I highly recommend this item, as well as this shop.
